While the harsh heat of the South has already scorched many of the summer wildflowers in Arkansas, the temperate climate of Colorado fosters a myriad of blooms all summer long.
Hiking along the West Maroon Trail near Aspen, it was as if someone, Someone, scattered buckets of seeds along the way.
The sight was breathtaking to me, a lifelong lover of all things blooming!
..and colors painted the trail!
I know many retreat to the Rockies in the winter for the great skiing, but I believe that I will always relish the Rockies in the summer for the gorgeous flowers!
