Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy.” Fred De Witt Van Amburgh

We were a bit puzzled at the request to go to Dardanelle to photograph a swing at the school playground.  After hearing the story, it made perfect sense!

Bounding into his truck, her face aglow with more than the sweat that comes about on a sticky September day in the River Valley, Ruby gave her daddy that adorable smile that melted hearts, especially his.

“How was school?” He asked.

“Super fantastic amazing!  You wanna know why?”

Without waiting for a response, she continued, “At recess I have the best thing in the world: my own mountain!  And I have the perfect view of it from my favorite swing!  I am one lucky ducky!”

May we all be able to sit in our favorite swing and find our own mountains!
