Images such as these are abundant at Lake Chicot State Park, home of the largest natural lake in Arkansas and the largest oxbow lake in North America.  Nestled in a remote area on Highway 257 near Lake Village, we welcomed the feeling of tranquility it had to offer, enjoying walks that skirted both farmland and shoreline, the effect being a greater understanding and appreciation of the diverse beauty found in the Natural State.
